Shelby Township Music Society

Do you play an instrument?  Are you interested in sharing your musical talents with other musicians?  Consider joining the Shelby Township Music Society.  Meetings are NOW held the second Saturday of each month from 7:00 (6:30 in winter) to 9:00 pm at the Shelby Community Center, located at 51670 Van Dyke, one light north of 23 Mile Road.

The Music Society is still evolving, and continues to grow.  We welcome audience participation and encourage anyone who enjoys free entertainment to come.  One of the best things about our group is the diversity of musical instruments and types of music performed. 

The Music Society provides an opportunity for both area amateur and professional musicians and vocalists to get together and exchange ideas, knowledge, and experiences in all styles of music.    Members are encouraged to collaborate and network with other musicians.  Individuals are given the opportunity to step up and contribute ideas, and to volunteer to “orchestrate” future meetings.  Workshops, guest speakers/artists, and informal jam sessions are typically planned each month.
